Product Description. The same as seen on early high grade guns of this century. Exactly like the original: solid, and reddish brown in color.
Base measures 6′ long by /32′ wide (at the widest point). Screw holes are 3-¼' apart. Total pad depth is /16″.

Redhead recoil pad. Post by mc» Sun Feb 08, am. I recently picked up a brand new, in the box, Redhead pad off Ebay. The seller also sent a copy of the patent drawing and letter, which I did not know came with the pad.
Not a Noshoc, Jostam or Hawkins but a neat old pad. Evidently they made a No.
Description:Serial 1, 12 ga. The barrels show lovely plum and gray contrasting damascus pattern their full-length, appearing to have been very nicely, very professionally re-struck. The frame is primarily a dark plum brown and speckled case-hardened patina with some generous colors atop the short tang. The lockplates are unembellished and show some silvery speckled and gray case-hardening with the right lock more of a pewter, the left more of a blue-gray with colors in the areas of the hammers.
