Description:My Doctor was very meticulous and thorough from the beginning to the end of my experience. It does not treat the excess tissue in the neck, but can often be combined with liposuction of the chin and neck area for additional contour improvement. With a face and neck lift, excess skin is removed through hidden incisions around the ears and under the chin. Smoking is a contraindication for facelift surgery. Placement of sutures in the SMAS layer of the face and the muscle layer of the neck elevates the jowls and tightens the neck to give a lifted appearance to the face and an improved contour to the jawline and neck.
